Does the movie The Lion King have some psychological affect towards the audience?

Well yes it brings out feelings depending on how emotional you are. Sometime people can simply connect with it, connect with the story and that brings out feelings as well.

I know what you mean, I love The Lion King (in fact I was actually watching it, and drawing Scar yesterday lol). I think any movie could have psychological effect towards the audience, it just depends on what a certain person is reading into the movie. The Lion King certainly is a very powerful movie. Even though it’s a cartoon, I think it’s a fantastic movie, probably there in my top 3 movies lol.

Yes it does, if you are emotional enough. Which is why I can’t watch Disney movies like that or Bambi, because I’d cry.

Maybe, I LOVE this movie. I mean now that I’m older.. I think.. “wow.. he killed his own brother, over power?” … jealousy does cause people do things like that in today’s society, but if you mean emotionally? I definitely cried when Mufasah died :(
