Monster energy.

Is this stuff bad for you? My friend says it is. How is it bad? It has vitamins doesn’t it?

it can if you drink too many of em it says right on it dont drink more then 3 a day but if you have 1 just to stay up a little later the worst thing that happens is your just a little tired later

Energy drinks are bad! especially rockstar! I drank some yesterday cause I didn’t go to sleep saturday til like 7:30 in the morning which would be sunday I guess. I’m still suffering from the side effects and I don’t normally drink energy drinks! I’m shaking, weak, and can’t breath, and my hands won’t stay still. They’re not good at all.

its the taurine in it thats the bad part. drinking any energy drink like that for a long time can cause your heart rate to go up and your blood pressure to increase and stay up until you quit which could cause other cardiac or heart probs in the long run, which is not so good. the girl above me is my sister so yeah…she drank one and it had bad effects on her.

the only thing in thouse that gives you energy is sugar, a good choice of drink if you want diabeties, lol. and this stuff about added minerals is just a way to get your money- there are added minerals and vitamins in that, but your body isnt used to getting its minerals in such a rich source so it cant do anything with the minerals and vitamins in that junk, if its minerals and vitamins you want (I know its said a lot) you get a tone of vitamins and minerals through water- and your body can actualy use the ones its getting from watter.

Because of the stimulating effects of them, they can boost heart rate and blood pressure. They also dehydrate the body, and can be especially harmful if you aren’t drinking enough water to counter-act them.

Remember that although they may give you a boost of energy - it’s temporary. You’re better off following a regime of healthy eating, exercise and proper sleeping habits.
