Who knows if you can mix cake flavors?
Like, if I were trying to make a strawberry and chocolate cake could I get a box of strawberry and a box of chocolate cake mix and mix them together? Would they mix properly or would it just be a mess?
I would recommend that if you want to add another flavour to a cake mix, use an extract instead, otherwise, you can use the two different mixes, but swirl them in the pan to make a marble cake.
cake making- or cooking in general is artwork and the sky is the limit to what you can do. you can mix different flavors and swirl them together to create a new double flavor cake.
The chocolate would over power the strawberry. Also, different flavors have different recipes usually and call for different amounts of water and baking times. It would be better to do a chocolate cake with strawberry flavorng or a strawberry cake with chocolate flavoring….or just use different flavored icing.
Oh, so I would mix them seperately and then pour a little of each into the pan?
Exactly, then take a butter knife and swirl them together
