Mind readers?

most are Cold readers. they can read different behaviors both phyicaly and answers to questions. this is where I differ from those I usealy agree with here. I do think there are those out there that are more preceptive to energies given off by our brain. though they are few and far between.

No. There’s absolutely no evidence of any sort of ‘mind reading’ ability, nor any reason to think one exists. As akumo points out, ‘cold reading’ is the technique so called ‘psychics’ use to appear to be able to read your mind.

haha!! me too!! I’ve always wondered if the person next to me is listening to my thoughts. and one time I thought they were cause of what they said to me!! o.O but it was just a mere coinsodince.

Cold reading? It’s the ability to read peoples behavior, eg: physical movement, faces, looks and even the way people reply to a question. I used to practice it for a hobby which is why I’m such a “good listener” now, I’m not as good as the people that get paid to “read minds” but I can figure out whats wrong with people and what they are feeling just by looking at them, and in most cases reading things they write.

but as akumo was saying your body language can betray your thoughts, and to someone trained to read your body language and even something as subtle as your pupils dilating, you would be surprised how by asking a few questions, and reading your response- a person can get very close to what you are actually thinking. most fortune tellers and tarot card readers (not all) rely heavily on reading your reactions.

I also have felt the “connection” to someone I have been close to.

There are no “mind readers”, just some very good psychologists.

now that makes me wonder…hmm…lol
