Who else thinks that Miley Cyrus's performance at the VMA'S was just ridiculous?

The performance was just trash. But look, it’s the most talked about event and she’s getting a lot of attention for it, which is what she wanted.

ya everyones like oh shes growing up stop hating…… but come on like u dont gotta act sluty…. n shes all twerking when she has nothing to shake,,,, like i clicked this video yesterday of this mom n she was talking about twerking saying she was gonna show people how to then shes like first u gotta throw all your self respect out the window n realize people are gonna treat you different n that your not gonna find a real man because hes not gonna respect you cause you cant respect yourself and then shes like imma show you guys how to twerk just kiddingggg i have wayyyyy to much respect for myself and for my husband like only he should see that its ok to do alittle botty shaking but have respect for yourself n all this stuff that was probably the best video n it made me think of how miley cyrus was acting cause i did watch it. but its sad how she was acting i wonder what her dad thinks….. and like what her fans think cause most are little girls like shes so dumb

I don’t think her performance was THAT big of a deal, but maybe that’s just because I could personally care less about what most celebrities are up to. Yeah, she was a Disney star, and yeah, watching Miley grind on some dude while she sings about getting “a line in the bathroom” has got to be pretty traumatizing for the little girls who look up to her, but this isn’t exactly the first rebellious thing that Miley has done since her “Hannah Montana” role. People change when they grow up. I don’t think she’s that talented - I mean, her dad helped her get famous in the first place, and her singing voice is really raspy, but that’s just my opinion!
