Miami, FL bad neighborhood?

So I was looking into the city of Miami, FL.

And I found a house that I truly like. Its located between Biscayne Blvd and any 26 Street. The street is a dead end looking over the bay. Is this a bad neighborhood to live in? Please let me know! Thanks!

Hmm yeah Dara has a point, some of the areas downtown arent the safest, it’s really weird here, you have really expensive houses right across the street from the ghetto areas… honestly you should check out the place before you buy it…

Miami in general is not the safest place to live. The crime rate of the city is about 6 times the national average. I lived there for about 5 years and I can tell ya, some neighborhoods downtown are just bad…

Biscayne is generally nice. However before buying a house there, I’d contact the local police station and ask for the crime reports. If there are a lot near the house, don’t buy it. It should be a free service.
