There is actually a theory that men go through andropause which has been described as the male equivalent of menopause. It links with symptoms of mid-life crisis and a decline in testosterone. There could be a scientific cause for his behaviour! I feel for you :)

I just you’re just going to have to use this information as an explanation of his behaviour. It means give him a little bit of leeway when it seems he has been a bit over the top. I think the set thing now to do is talk to him about his behavior and see if he notices any changes. Overall, you may just have to deal with it. Be there for him and enjoy daddy-daughter time.It should pass.
