Mitosis: (2N) body cells 2 identical cells created
Meiosis: sex cells (N) Diploid to hapliod 1 to 4 cells made crossing over occurs two divisions: Meiosis 1 and Meiosis 2
I don’t know about meiosis, but mitosis is the process when one cell creates a duplicate cell, which creates a duplicate cell, etc.
Mitosis: it includes cytokinesis division of cells, chromosomes and 2 identical cells created
Meiosis: You used the Diploid to Haploid useing the crossing over there are two divisions Meiosis 1 and Meiosis 2
Mitosis is any cell division EXCEPT for creating the gametes or sex cells that are the spermatozoa and eggs - which is meiosis. Mitosis creates IDENTICAL DIPLOID daughter cells. Meiosis creates haploid daughter cells.
