calling a kid on the bus Buhdda is mean?

yes just because buddha is a very spritual thing that people beleive in doesnt mean it can be hurtfull mainly because a lot of kids are idiots and still dont know the real meaning of anything but obviousy as we all know, buddah is fat and stupid kids can use that as an insault and by calling a kid buddah your calling them fat and calling someone fat can cause HUGE problems not only to there self esteem but there veiw of body image they could end up always think there fat because other people call them that, so end up starving themselves or having depression that could lead them to kill themselves all from being bullied and called fat what you or the other person is doing is stupid and wrong and it needs to stop now

If someone were to call me Buddha, I would be honoured.

However, kids obviously don’t know what it means to be a Buddha, and use it in the most unkind of manners. They will use it to describe someone who is overweight (THE Buddha was not overweight), as an insult.

It can be seen as cruel to someone who doesn’t understand, but Buddha was a man of infinite wisdom, patience and loving kindness, and I think the world needs more Buddhas.

The word is Buddha. And yes, it is mean because I am positive the kids don’t know anything about Buddha and were just using the term to call someone fat. In case you aren’t aware, calling someone fat is mean. Calling someone Buddha isn’t the worst insult I can think of, but you never know how deeply little things can affect someone who might already have low self esteem.

Lol you guys are crazy if you think its not mean. It is mean if you mean to call them fat…and the fact that its on the bus in front of other kids makes it worse!

The “buddha” party isnt mean, its the intention of how you are using it that matters, and yeah id say its about a 10 on that scale,the public humiliation really makes it bad!
