me and my boyfriend's conversations

my boyfriend is so silent on the phone and he gives me short answers when I ask him something what could I do to get the conversation going?

Maybe he just doesnt like talking on the phone, text sweet things to him occasionally- if he calls to talk to you on the phone then keep the convo. going with stuff that you are both interested in,dont force anything. if you cant keep it going then tell him or ask him why that is happening maybe.

Talk to him about things he enjoys; Ask questions about whatever it is. Ask him how his day was, etc.

When it comes down to it, though, you have to keep in mind that some people just aren’t as comfortable speaking over the phone. Give him some time with it. Perhaps he will come around.
