Do you need your matric certificate to get into an American College?

Well Im gonna do a college course here, you dont need matric for it. I’d have my high school diploma, just not my matric cert. But the main courses I want to do will be at college in America.

Well a requirement in all countries for you to be able to further your studies is a matric certificate. You could probably get away with only having a high school diploma,but would have to submit proof of matric certificate you obtained at a later stage. But ask the college what they require. Most of them have pretty clear guidelines.

ohh I see now. Well as a matter of fact, it might not be necessary for you to bring up your matric as some colleges don’t notice that kind of stuff, but it is a good idea to present any information track of what you’ve done in your past education. It just might not need to be necessary if you finish college in South Africa and do your degree in a college here.

Well here major colleges need it, but smaller colleges dont. I plan to study aupair here at college for a year, then go to europe and do it for a year, then go get a degree in Music and Performing arts at an American college.
