average speed = total distance/total time…

soo…

24/6 = 4 hr 24/8 = 3 hr 24/12 = 2 hr

Total time = 9 hours Total Distance = 24*3 = 72

72/9 = 8km/hr (which is kinda obvious, if you average the 3 speeds [6+8+12/3] since it’s the same distance, but that’s the proper way to do it)
