Why did man invent wallets?

Everyday I take a ride on my bike to the gas station and like every 3 or more months my wallet falls out of my back pocket!! Why did man invent wallets? Wasn’t the clip they have now good enough?!

Answer #1

Because people got tired of having important stuff being taken out of their pockets. And second of all, no offense but this is why I always tell people it’s stupid to put stuff in the back pockets. The front pockets are safer, or better yet put your wallet in a little zippered hand bag with a strap that can go around you…

They are practical and convienant. I could not imagine not carrying a wallet. There is no possible way i could carry everything i need and not lose them by constantly taking them in and out of my pockets. My wallet entails: 2 debit cards, 1 credit card, My insurance card, My sons insurance card, My daughters insurance card, My license, My money, My hot topic rewards card, My JcPennys card, My social security card….there is no way i could carry all of that in my pocket and keep track of it.

There is no rule that says your wallet has to be in your back pocket - use your brain. If you keep losing it while riding your bike - be smart and put it inn your front pocket while riding your bike or place a chain on it.
