Are male teens less likely to study than females?

Is it true that male teens are just naturally less studious than female teens?

If so, how can one at least attract him to study more? What are the “simple” reward or punishment systems “proven by experience” to be effective?

Ok heres the deal. yes its true that male teens study less then female. There are many ways of getting a male teen to study more. for instence; study for a quiz by learning the infermation the teens learning and then toss the football while asking questions. since most males are hands on learners they will learn as you go. Another way of helping a teen learn more is by creating memorizable technuqes such as this one my spanish teacher taught me.

This was for the spanish speaking countries in Central America. Flash cards also will help teens. These are the study skills ive learned and use today. Good Luck.
