Democratic leaders are poised to gut America's missle defense, why?

From what I understand all the missile tests have failed. (THe ones that were successfull were under “lab” conditions).

Now that does not mean that we should not keep trying until something works out. But where are our priorities when simple things like our ports are not protected. There is a million times more danger coming from the ports than from a missile defense system.

Democrats have often pointed that out, but nobody’s at home at the Fed level.

Ask yourself “why”. Why would a democratic leader gut a missile defense system if that missile defense system was a working system that provided adequate support in a time of crisis? In politics you shouldn’t underestimate the opposition. Also you have to make sure that they cut something vital in the budget for the missile defense system or if it actually was some school-yard play of grown men taking back money that was once in their personal pet projects pre-911. People have differences on a lot of things, but to imply that the democrats are exposing the US to attack is like our own party’s inability to find any more material than “Well, Bill Clinton……” We need to move forward and not try to make excuses for a bad president who poses now as a christian and has a definite mental problem that has occured within the last 10 years.

Type in “senile” into google and click the first link. A business associate of mine showed me this and I now understand a lot of the problems people have with Bush, and it is unfortunately Bush’s performance that has paved the way for a return to Democratic politics.
