Make legs look longer.

I probably have the worst lower body ever. I am pear-shaped so I have pretty big hips. Also, I have short legs( proportionally) and to add to that… my legs are bow-legged. Put it all together… it’s really hard to find jeans that fit well. If I wear skinnies, my hips look gigantic. If I wear flares, it makes my thighs looks smaller but makes my legs look even shorter. Bow legged- my calves stick out and makes me look odd. So when I’m looking for a pair of jeans what should I look for? should the flare start right where the knee is or lower? low rise or high rise? What about shoes? I can’t wear heels to school… and I’m feeling very very hopeless. Please help! THANKS!

Your best bet is a pair of straight leg jeans and a shoe with a sliver wedge (1-2 inches…very comfortable)for school. J.Crew’s Matchstick jeans are flattering and reasonably priced. If you’re willing to spend a bit more J. Brand’s Midrise straight leg or Cigarette jean would be great - they’re pretty pricy but I can attest to the fact that they last forever if you take care of them, and they have petites. Oh, and ALWAYS buy a dark wash (indigo or black) - much more flattering and can be dressier for going out. Hope this helps… I’m sure you’ll look great!

id say highrise so your hips look smaller. and try a boot cut or striat leg with flats .

skinny jeans will only empisize on everything you dont want like your hips, legs and it will definetly show your bowwed legs.

try a skirt every now and then so you cant tell about you thighs and youhips will kinda blend and you calves will show but that isnt a big deal.

try to wear a somewhat looser shirt on your waist so that it doesnt empasize your hips.
