Lung cancer?

I’ve been smoking “seriously” for 3-5 years. I smoke maybe over a pack a day. I went to the hospital a few months ago because I had a real bad cough and stuff. They took an x-ray of my chest and I had bronchitis. I asked them if they saw any signs of lung cancer or anything like that and they said no, I was all clear. Now, my chest hurts when I take a deep breath. It doesnt hurt really bad, but its noticable for me. So, now im kinda worried about it. Do you think it could be lung cancer?

Answer #1

Not likely, sometimes bronchitis has after effects… but you should check it out with the doctor. oh and uhm quit smoking?

Answer #2

I had bronchitis (not from smoking) and when I breathed in, it felt like someone was kneeling on my chest and it hurt a lot, but doctors are usually right, so its probly not lung cancer, but to prevent it you gotta quit
