Can you go out for lunch in private high schools too?

Quite sure you can’t you are not of legal age yet in highschools, so they will not let underage students going out, all responsibility will fall on them.

It seems this rule actual was taken away a couple of years ago in many schools actually for various reasons.

i went to a private high school and we never got to go out. we always had to eat at the cafeteria

In my school we have to eat in the cafeteria. But if you are in 6th form (around 17-18) then you can. But it depends on the school I’d say.
