why is there a lump around my ear piercing now after 6 weeks ?

I literally was thinking the same thing, I noticed I had a painful lump on my ear and I paniked cos I remember a girl from school who had a massive one that looked like a chocolate raison ewwww

ewwww D: this is my 3rd ear piercing and it healed and stuff so i took it out and put silver earrings in and now the right one is proper horrible its red and i can feel the lump >.< ergh its making me feel sick thinking about it :|

i have had at least 7 piercings in my life and that had to almost all of them put polysporn on it and u’ll be good in 2-3 days

I got my 6th ear piercing and the same happened all you have to do is clean it with salt water and stop fidgeting with it.. leave it for a few days and take a needle heat up the edge of it and pop the lump its just blood and gross stuff thats gonna come out when you are done IMMEDIATLY clean it with salt water. its gonna burn like hell! Im allergic to silver earrings so im only allowed to wear either surgical steel or gold. I got 8 piercings and the same thing happened to my bellyring don’t worry about it just keep it clean! its never happened with the other 2 so it worried me. the lump has gone down abit because i did put salt water on it :) thank youu :]

its normal. it will go down. its either swollen or puss in it

Pleasure! Just remember not to fidget with it the lump will eventually go away If you contantly clean it!
