Are lube and spermicide the same thing.

Are lube and spermicide the same thing. How do you use them. I thought I knew what they were but now im just confused ^ ^ lol. I know that spermicide should go on the sides of the condom and kill sperm… Just tell me everything I need to know about them. Thanx ~kaitlyn~

A lubricant (sometimes referred to “Lube”) is a substance (often a liquid) introduced between two moving surfaces to reduce the friction and wear between them. Spermicide is a substance that kills sperm, inserted vaginally prior to intercourse to prevent pregnancy.

So, the difference is pretty clear. Lube isn’t used to kill sperm, its just to make things slide in easier.
