What are good luau party ideas?

what are some good ideas and decorations? and at what time do luau parties start at?

hang paper lanterns up, put tiki torches around the yard, make shish kabobs, buy some of those flower neckaces, go to a party store and see if they have some of those pineapple cups, maybe those plastic palm trees for table decorations, flower printed plates,napkins,etc.

i don’t know if it really matters what time they start, but when my school had a luau i know it started at 5 in the evening, probably because it was a lot cooler in the evening as apposed to earlier in the day when it would be hot outside.
