Is it better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all?

Is it truly better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all? If so why? This has been a question that has bugged me for a while and I would like to hear your views on it.

Answer #1

I agree, becos even tho you lost it and you get hurt by love sometimes, its these experiences and memories that stay with you forever and make you learn and grow into the person you are today.

Answer #2

Yup. Even if loosing someone that you have loved you both have grown thru the good and bad together. Think of all the good memories you share. Those can not be taken from you. If you never risk loving someone you are left with only yourself. Relationships are costly but of great value. Treasure and protect them at all cost. Good luck. Ginp

Dear meeandnotyou, I agree 100% with escortagino. As we go through life we date, love many people. Some of these people love us back and some don’t. Some love us for a longtime some don’t. We take a part of each relationship we have and learn and grow from it…good or bad. This gives us more to offer to others and gives us a way to learn from our mistakes. Loosing at love is very sad but those who choose not to know love in fear of rejection shall never grow and learn to love themselves or give love. Sue….good luck
