You love your mum and dad. But you are in love with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Its a different kind of love. When you are in love you feel a huge amount of lust, appreciation and a connection, both physcially and mentally. When you just love someone, like your mum, its kinda just because shes there for you and raised you.
