Can one be "in" love if they're 13 years old?

yes , my parents starting dating in 7th grade and theyve been together since . celebrated their 30th wedding anniversery yesterday .

or corse. there is absolutly no age limmit. only you no if you love someone, my mom always trys to tell me im to young fer love. but no.

Like others said, love can come to your heart however old you are, of course for a thirteen-year old, theres more likely a possibility of it simply being an ‘attraction’, since you’re not very developed mentally enough to understand the psychology of love. It can feel like love and look like love, it can even -be- love, but I don’t know for sure. :3

So most of young teenagers tend to break up before a year comes. You could’ve met your soulmate during those ages, but the chances are kind of slim. Of course, with every break-up grows strength, courage, and understanding. Then you’ll comprehend ‘love’ much better than you do now. xD

There are different levels of love. 13 yr olds can love, but its more of an attraction, new feelings type of love. Physiologically 13-17 yr old brains cant comprehend the deeper/serious type of love. Young love prepares us for what comes later. Its through experiences we gain knowledge, and each relationship teaches us something about ourselves, and what we want/need for a lasting commitment.

I think a 13 year old can fall in love, but I don’t think a 13 year old can fully understand it, or tell the difference between true love, and puppy love, or even lust… Not to disrespect younger people, but there are different stages in life, and as you advance through them you’ll understand better, and you’ve kind of got to experience these feelings of love, through trial and error, a couple times before you really get the hang of it, most adults still have trouble with it lol…

love is when you know the worse thing about a person… and its ok..

YES im 13. I have not felt true love yet only crushes but I do think if a 13 yr old finds the right one they can deffinitly be and love.
