Where to find this older Tupperware item?

Hi.. A friend of mine says he is looking for a plastic sugar holder/dispenser that he saw like in the 50-60’s…it was a two handled dish or bowl with one lid, and one side had a spout and the other side had a spoon. Can anyone help? I’ve searched ALL OVER! Hope this is the right category to post this. Or if anyone has search advice…

Hmmm….have you looked at eBay? Just typing “vintage tupperware” pulls up lots of results. Once I broke one of my boyfriend’s favorite glasses from the 80s, and I had a helluva time finding a replacement. I scoured the pages and pages of eBay collectible glasses and finally found one that looked exactly the same- of course it cost $30 because it was from the “Seinfeld” set! Oi…

Anyway, if eBay doesn’t work out, it’s more of a long shot, but check thrift stores and garage sales. Sometimes specific stuff like that doesn’t happen right away, but if you keep looking, you’ll eventually find it.

This website: http://www.tupperdiva.com/ has scans of tupperware catalogs from the mid 1950s to late 1960s. Check there and see if any of the catalogs have the item, you may be able to find it’s name and make your search easier.
