Looking for a job but I have a lip ring a nose ring & a tongue ring

By having a lip hoop and a nose hoop and a tongue piercing do you think that that is affecting when I go into jobs to work there??? Why cant they see behind that and look at my experiance and work ethics?!

what ever, the job bisness guyys are fux, I think you should just find a job at like a tatoo parlor or an arcade, or yeah, a gas station, somewhere that you can be yourself whithout having people tell you how to look- speedy

Your attitude will help determine how far you go. If you want to remain a rebel, go for it! If you want to join middle America, you will have to be a little more stealthy and maybe loose a piercing or two - at least the more obvious ones. Tongue piercings are usually OK as long as they are not real obvious. I know a lady in mid-management that has 5 piercings and 2 tats, but they all are not out for everyone to see.

Dear synyster1666, Many place will hire you with your piercings…such as gas stations, some grocery stores etc. If you are looking for higher paying work they have a dress code. This code isn’t something new it’s been around for many, many years. When you got your piercings you were well aware of these codes and well aware that you would have problems with higher paying jobs. So you made the choice…it isn’t up to them to see past these, there are rules we all have to follow. That means you too. If you choose a higher paying career you can take them out. Sue…good luck
