Looking for a 1960-70 children's christmas album
The one unique song on the album I think is called “Christmas is for Children.” The words beging with, “Christmas is for Children, faces all aglow, waiting for st. nick to come, down the chimney, a ho ho ho ho. Soon the waiting’s over, stockings all are hung. Christmas is for children are to feeling young.
I’ll bet you are looking for the album “Christmas is for Children” by the Richard Wolfe Children’s Chorus. I have a copy that was made by RCA Camden in 1967, but I believe the same album was re-released in the early 70s The other songs on the album include Merry Christmas Wish (“ a Merry Christmas wish to our friends and neighbors everywhere…), O Christmas Tree, Rudolph, Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town, Drummer Boy, Joy to the World, Sleigh Ride, etc. Try eBay.
