How long does it take to wash hair dye out until it fades to your natural colour?

They do have ones that wash out in 14 or 28 shampoos

Well, even permanent ones fade the more you wash it, but yeah, I think it would be mighty hard to wash it away completely.

Depends what kind of dye you used, what your application was like, what colour it was, if your hair had been coloured before, what your natural colour is, and how often you wash your hair and with what shampoo.

I think it depends on the dye you used because I’ve used black dye and it faded in 2 washes but the blonde stayed in for a while like a few months, I also used different brands and they all have different outcomes

It depends on the dye that was used and what your original hair color was. Permanant hair dye shouldnt wash out, it will fade over time but it will never fully wash out. A semi-permanant can wash out in a few months - pouring diet coke in your hair and washing it afterwards can spead up the process. A temporary dye will wash out in a few days - a week or two at the most.

it was ermmmmmm lkive colour xl or something and my natural colour is brown close to black and i dyed it at xmas and its fading but i want the proces to hurry up!!

regular dye dosnt go bac to ur natural colour. after u dye it, ur natural colour dosnt exsist anymore. it can only be a faded version of wat u dyed it.

but even if it washes out, it will be a faded version of the colour dyed. once u dyed it ur natural colour dosnt excist for u anymore untill it grows out.

it kinda depends on what u use to die ur hair. Some stay for months, a year, weeks, or days.
