Am I the only one who feels lonely?

Of course not, this is a problem for loooads of people.

The reasons are probably many. Sometimes people are afraid to let people in. I know this guy, all he talks about is himself. He gets to every social occasion yet never asks anyone about themselves. I have met this guy socially, I have tried to talk with him more than half a dozen times - I know where he lives, who his friends are, what he does for work and leisure, who his exes are… he doesnt know the first thing about me- everyone I talk to shares this opinion of him. I have never seen him listening, being amused or delighted by anyone, I have never seen him dance or play with kids. I bet he is lonely because he is the only person in his world! I dont know you and cannot begin to understand why YOU are lonely, but developing your self by learning new things or visiting a therapist to understand yourself better will probably help you work out your issues. You can’t stay lonely- people aren’t good being lonely, they need to feel connected to ther humans in order to feel happy and to blossom .
