Living by myself in oklahoma when I'm 16 years old.
I will be turning 16 in 4or 5mns and live with my dad since my mom had died is living hell. I have all was live with my mom and never with my dad. We fight every single dad I have creid more this yr then I have ever had. I own 1 horse and 2 dogs but will be getting 2 or three more for my breeding program. I will be getting a job and will keep goning to school until I grad.my mom told me I could live onw my own if I can prove I have a good income and can support my self. And if I can what will I need so my dad can’t make me stay home.
Wait. Your mom told you that you can live on your own.. but she died? Either I read that wrong or it just doesn’t make sense.
But anyway.. You can’t just live on your own. It’s illegal, your a minor. You have to go through the process of getting emancipated. Most places, to get emancipated you need: A place to live. A steady source of income. And a couple more things.
yea I agree with you girl. I do to want to live by my self too. my parents are devosed. they don’t like each other. I live with my mom and visit my dad occasionly. my dad is the best dad ever I love him. but my mom is the most annoying person ever. she argues over anything mostly 10 times a day. I think she hates me. the constant pain I in through every is horrible. I get depressed all the time. I have had thoughts of suicide. my depression is not getting any better but only worse. I cant go to my dads because I once escaped to go their then my mom charged my dad of kidnapping but he didn’t go to jail but he couldn’t see us for five years. I have a younger brother and sister. they get unhappy now and then but it seams my mom favors them though. I am seventeen and I wish I can live by my self more than anything. I ask my mom if I can get my permit so that I can get a licence so that I can get a job and maybe soon I can live by my self. my mom doesn’t want anything to do with me that she can not do anything for my future. I have very good grades. a 4.0 GPA and I want to be an architect. but when my mom does all this things to me I get too depressed and feel like giving up all my dreams and future and maybe my life. living by my self will make a big change in me. and will help with my depression. shemnyachieo@yahoo.com.sg this is my email
ok…first of all… back that train up… you are 16 years old… you are far too youg to be living on your own… most places will not let you move in unless you can prove that you have a steady job and have been working at the same place for 6 months or longer.. they do require photo ID, and most places now are adult buildings… trust me,,. I know all of this because I am 18 years old… I moved out of my parents house when I was 14years of age… and trust me.. after being on the streets for over a year I got into cocaine and a lot of bad thigns… a lot of the times you may think that its an awesome idea… but really its not.. you have to worry about groceries, the power bill, the phone bill, the cable bill, the internet bill, the cell phone bill, trust me girl,. its not easy…and in order to be able to get your bills(power, phone etc) you have to be of legal age… so… yewah I would consider staying wit my dad for a while yet.. trust me,… I wish I could go back…
I’ve lived by myself sice I was 15, now im 16years old. no, I dont live with my boyfrend, no I was not pregnant or a bad child. My mother died when I was 9 and my father disown me and does not support me. I live by myself, work and go to school. im in lots of stress and looking for help. If you are leaving just because your mad at your father, DONT DO IT!! but if your father abused and does not provide like mine, go right a head, just have full confidance and accept the outcomes.
love, SG
