Little pups

Does anyone know where I would be able to get a chihuahua or other dog around that sort for less than $100 and fast? I have this friend who is fairly unhappy with her life and her mom finally agreed to let her get a dog but she has a small house so it has to be small, she really wants it, but doesnt have much money so thats what it would be cheap, any info greatly appreciated

My chihuhua gave birth 42 days ago! I live in miami and I do not ship. I sell them for $300.

Shelter!! The price depends on where you live…but usually there is a spay or neuter included in that price (plus shots)…Put your name in if they don’t have what you’re looking for, and you will get a call when they do.

You’ll be saving a life.

  1. An animal shelter or the local pound. Especially after the holidays, people return animals they received as unwanted gifts. Adopting is much cheaper than buying a dog from a petshop. Petshop dogs are also often from puppy mills, which also can lead to inbreeding and health problems. My local shelter has adoptions for $60 per dog, including all shots.

*edited to add: 25% of all dogs at the local pound or shelter are purebreed. She could find a Chihuahua, I’m sure of it.

  1. I don’t mean to be presumptuous, but if she doesn’t have money, she shouldn’t get a pet. Pets are lifetime commitments, and she will want to be able to care for the dog if it becomes sick or injured. Vet bills / frontline / shots, etc. all add up, not to mention the food/ leashes/ toys, etc.

her mom will pay for that, her mom has money, and shes getting a job (hopefully)

I’ve seen them on petfinder. But make a difference got to an animal shelter they only cost 75 dollars

Answer #7

I would agree with editor. You can go to local shelters. I have read also that it is not a good idea to get a dog for emotional support.. This is one of the worst reasons to get a dog, (filling a void) But I do wish her luck, and I hope you find what you are looking for. Small dogs get placed faily qucikly when then end up at a shelter so you may need to put a name on a watiting list.
