Listen to your heart

A few nights ago my friend and me were talking and he told me to listen to my heart and I was wondering what he meant by that and how you do it because that’s something I’ve’e never done before and also why would a guy tell me this because isn’t that something a girl would say?

If he’s anything like my friend he’s referring to the song and being a pain… If he’s not, he’s simply saying do whatever you feel deep down is the right thing to do… whatever your first gut instinct to do is…

it means listen to what you really want and what you really think not literal as in listen to your heart beat its like listening to what your instincts tell you to do

its good advice, it doesnt matter wether its coming from a boy or gir. you follow your heart. that gut feeling. instead of following your head. you go for it whatever that may be :]

Here’s an example… Say you liked this guy and wanted to ask him out, but one of your friends is like “don’t ask him out, he’ll say no”. If you were to listen to your heart you would ask him out anyways because thats what your heart told you to do in the first place and thats what you truly want to do. Always listen to your heart unless there are serious boundaries in the way, when things are in the way you need to work around them. But always fight for what you truly want and never let anything stop you from achieving what you know is best for you.
