LIMEWIRE issues

How illegal is it? HAHA. Like I dont know if I have it what’re the chances of me getting caught? And how badly does it mess up your computer?

I personally would say the chances are slim, but im speaking as uk resident where weve only had like 1 person sued dont know the state of affairs in usa.

If you do just make sure you dont draw attention to yourself, the more files you keep in you shared folder the closer you get to the top of the list of people pirating most. I would say 100 files or so would probs be ok, but you can always just download what u want then copy and paste it to somewhere else. Bear in mind that most bitTorrent users are downloading 1gb+ programs and movies so limewire is gonna be less targeted even if it isnt so safe.

Basically as a rule of thumb, dont be escessive and draw attention to yourself, make sure your in the majority not the minority.

limewire sucks but i still use it try BitTorrent !!!!!!!!!!!!! is slower than limewire but you have to set up you upload and download speed

There is a company that provides insurance for if you get sued by the RIAA .. its like 19 dollars a month. Does that help? Limewire blows, it uses java which since Microsoft said no to java being imbeded into Windows.. it went to hell because now the java councel has to run when you run anything java… thus your computer gets slowed down major… well mine doesn’t but it uses alot of ram none the less
