lilac hair not wanted

have bleached my med blonde hair but turned out too bright and yellow. then put some pearly ash blonde on to it to try and get rid of the yellow. after 5 min of the ash on my hair I panicked as my hair was rapidly turning mauve. ran to the bathroom and rinsed it off. now I have very pale pinky lilac hilights !!! all I wanted was to get rid of the bright yellow should I have percerveired not panicked and left the clour on for longer or what ??? what do I do now ? someone plse help me.!!!

If you use a darker color over it, it will probably have a green tint to it unless you use something that has a lot of gold orange or red in it, depending on how much darker you are willing to go. The darker you go the more red you’ll need. At this point, it maybe to late for a home fix, you could try calling the info line listed on the box, but I have a feeling you are gonna end up at your local hair salon on this one.

all you can do is redye. dont use an ash color though. they rarely come out looking good. use a medium blonde or a dark blonde. you can lighten it more with an ultra blonde 6 to 8 weeks later.
