Liking Guys? Please Help

I really don’t know what to do because it feels like I’m suppose to like a certain type of guy wither or not I want too. A guy that I have known for a while (had sex) wanted me to be matched up to one of his friends because he was a nerd, shy, virgin, and little to no friend and he thought we would actually make a good couple. But I’m not attracted to that at all for example I have a friend who is cute but I don’t like him the way he likes me because he’s really shy and hardly even talks, so it bugs me when I have to find something to say to him. I’m not really into shy guys but it feels like I’m suppose to because that’s all I could probably very get. Or I had another guy friend who liked me but he was very clingy and I don’t like clingy guys. The type of guys that I like are cool, little outgoing but not extreme, kinda cute, and cares but not like obsessive But those type of guys don’t consider me as an option even though there were only two guys that I ever really liked. I feel like I’m suppose to be stuck with guys who aren’t really my type because none of the guys that I like, never like me. Please Help?
