What in your life has been influenced by your idol?

The title says it all. In my life, Bam is the main reason I let my beard grow out, he also is the main reason I can be a bit random offline as well as wild.

Answer #1

Not so much an ‘Idol’, but the person I look up to is a little girl I do physiotherapy with. She’s been through so much and is so strong. She reminds me to live every moment to the fullest. She’s amazing.

Answer #2

I don’t have any idols.. But I really like Lucille Ball. She wasn’t afraid to be a dork and didn’t care how silly she looked or acted. lol

Answer #3

I don’t really have any idols in particular, perhaps my parents if anything. They’ve taught me a lot of things I know, and given me the freedom to learn the rest on my own. I can’t think of any big life changes I’ve done because of a particular person.

Answer #4

That’s pretty much my experience so far, except in the singular. My mum has always tried to teach me things I was curious about and encouraged me to find out for myself, and supported my interests. There’s never been a moment when she said a girl your age should be interested in so and so. As far has her direct influence on me, I mentioned on here that I feel out of touch with pop culture, and I think that’s come from her. I can’t think of any idols I have, there’s people I develope an interest in and I lie to learn about them, but that doesn’t mean I will like everything they do, or model myself on them.

Answer #5

My idol is my father. After watching the way hes handled the last 7 years of having cancer, being in and out of hospitals, going to chemo once a weeek, being sick, and losing his hair. He still has a positive outlook on life and doesnt let his illness stop him from living. I’ve taken so many life lessons from watching him. Ive learned to face problems and struggles with an optimistic attitude and to remember that things could always be worse. Ive learned that you have to live life and enjoy it because we arent guaranteed any certain amount of time. Ive learned that family comes first and to never miss a minute of your children growing up.
