What should I do if my life feels unbalanced?

I’m always feeling on egde lately and I just always dont feel right. I think part of the reason is that I’m not good with change and I’m moving back to the place I used to live after living in FL for three years. Is there anything I can do to try and relax? I’ve tried yoga and taking baths, any advice is appreciated! I’m willing to try anything!

Answer #1

Meditation, exercise, aromatherapy… I use lavender oil every night as well as Bach Flower Remedies’ Rescue Remedy, just rub two drops on the bottoms of your feet (that’s where your largest pores are so the intake is better).

Answer #2

Maybe it would help to make a list of how moving can be a good thing? That might change your perspective. For example, you’ll have a chance to sort of reinvent yourself, you’ll meet lots of new people, you’ll make new friends (or reunite with your old friends), etc. Try and stay positive. I know that’s easier said than done, but I promise you that better days are lying ahead. Sounds like you’re really stressed, & I don’t blame you! Relax by listening to music, going on walks/runs, watching movies, etc. Something else that might be a good idea is to have a day dedicated to yourself haha, like go shopping, get a haircut, get your nails done, etc. Anything that will make you feel good. Good luck w/ everything :)

Answer #3

I highly doubt rescue remedy can get into your body through your pores, considering the skin is refractive to almost all molecules. If it was, how would our bodies prevent anything getting in?

Answer #4

Really? Do you know nothing about essential oils? Research before you hold a vendetta. You’re wasting my time.

Answer #5

Tori, try reading Danielle’s profile: “I have a Bachelor of Science, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Science, in Anatomy and Structoral Biology” … if anyone is going to know anything about the body’s reaction to your essential oils, it would be her. Sorry, but I agree with Danielle … you’re just one more sorry consumer taken for a ride by a marketing team dedicated to fill your head so fully with lies that you end up actually believing it.

Answer #6

If you say so. Ha explain why it works? Explain why your skin absorbs other things?

Answer #7

The skin doesnt absorb many things. Your skin is designed to provide a barrier. Some things can get through the epidermis, but generally in quite limited amounts. I have no vendetta against aromatherapy - they are plant extracts and plant extracts can exert effects on physiology. In fact much of modern medicine is based on plants. But I do have doubts about them getting in through your skin. Contrary to popular opinion, thats not how your pores work.

Answer #8

Spray tans, sunscreen, lotions, moisturizers… Are you telling me these don’t actually go into your skin? They just sit on top? I wasn’t talking about a vendetta against aromatherapy. There are plenty of other people that you have chosen to leave alone even if they are inaccurate.

Answer #9

When I see something inaccurate, I say something. People say alot of stuff like its fact on the internet, and people believe it. You are not the first person I have disagreed with on here, and you wont be the last. Its nothing personal. Perhaps you should calm down, grow up, and not be so paranoid. And yes, spray tan, lotions etc DO just sit on the surface of your skin. Why do you think spray tan comes off with a good exfoliator? It stains the cells on the skin surface.
