Feelings on emo people?

Personally if you ask me, being stereotyped is just stupid. Emos…from the 80s..it was all about the music/genre. Look at it now; If you have dark styled hair, wearing black skinny jeans, lot of makeup, converse…bands shirts..youre considered emo. I think its a load of sh*t. Nope. I dont have anything against emo people. They are just people. There a lot of criticism, being getting bashed for being emo, which is pretty sad. However when people cut for attention attention or wants sympathy, it annoys me, but I dont hate them. I also hate being generalized from idiots for the music I listen to. Ok, I listen to MCR; I get crap from people and they call me emo. Seriously, what the hell? Since when does listen to a type of music make you who you are? I listen to metal as well and black metal…so whats that? emo/metalhead/goth. Ridiculous.

I think they’re lame…but I don’t HATE them. being emo is simply an odd combination of some of the dumbest traits I can think of. there’s the problem, right there. why cut? the rest of the world deals with their problems without self mutilation. why the self hate? why the depression? it’s worse for guys, too, because emo guys feel the need to dress like emo girls. who decided it was okay for a grown man to wear girl’s pants and makeup? you know what that was called before “emo”? cross-dressing. and as far as I’m concerned, that term still holds up. if you’re a guy and you want to be emo, that’s fine; just don’t be pissed off when people call you gay, because that’s what you are when you dress up like a girl. other than that though, whatever. girls, it’s not so bad, except they’re usually too skinny. add to that the emo girls haircut, and they kinda look ratty. I dunno, it’s just not a very flattering look, for anybody. that’s about it. other than the depression, emo personalities are okay. why, you looking to join the emo ranks? you’ve got too much to live for, it’s not worth it. what about your party? it’s hard to have fun if you hate your life. -either way, live the dream, I guess.

I totally agree with CONFUSSED_LIL_GIRL thats about as good as it gets I am a emo heres a lil sayin= dont just judje a book by its cover=which mean dont judge sum because ov there styles…anyways anyone out there thats hates emos sorry but go s*k and we aint boverd anyways hope this helped lol from ashlegh:-)

I could care less… it doesnt matter what or who you are! I am a little of everything sporty, preppy, emo… I just want to make this straight – NOT ALL EMO’S CUT. NOT ONLY EMO’S CUT.. “NORMAL” PEOPLE DO ALSO. !!!

I dont hate them I mean some of them are pretty cool but I hate it when people brag about how they are emo all the time and it gets on my nerves and well I personally think that what ever they want to do is their business and if thats their lifestyle cool but I just hate posers!

emo are fine to me =] people have a right to be whatever they want =] I used to be emo myself, but now im scene =]
