Does lemon juice help freckles fade?
Okay, I’m arguing with a co-worker about this. She says lemon juice really helps freckles fade, but I say that is an old wives’ tale. So, what do you guys think?
It does work to fade freckles, I use it. I don’t know about hair though, I haven’t tried it yet. But I will! Haha, your co-worker is right.
this is probably true, because lemon juice can lighten hair/skin to some extent if left on and repeated enough. one of my friends used it to lighten her discolored elbows : )
yes!! It can. But, lemon juice has a bad reaction to the sun and can turn your skin black for months!! This information was given to me by my dermatologist. It also helps with acne scars, hyperpigmentation, etc.. Lemon juice has AHA alpha hydroxy acids which cleanse the skin and help the skin renew itself… Some people reccommend it for scarring but I dont think juice will actually repair your skin damage..
