Remove black dots from shaving by rinsing or soaking your skin in warm to hot water for at least 5 to 10 minutes before you pull out the razor. This will help open up skin pores and hair follicles, allowing your razor to cut the hair even closer to your skin. Remember to wash your skin in cold water after you shave to close up the pores and follicles.

Use a sharp razor with multiple blades to remove black spots from shaving. Cheap disposable razors with a single blade cannot cut the hairs close enough to the skin to avoid the appearance of black dots. A dull blade will simply pull and tug each hair out further from the skin, making black dots even more noticeable.

Moisturize your skin before, during and after shaving to remove black dots. Moisturizers such as aloe vera make your skin more pliable and flexible, allowing epidermal layers to wrap around hair follicles more completely. The use of moisturizing shaving gels will also help you achieve a smoother, closer shave.

Shave less frequently to remove the appearance of black dots from your skin. You may have noticed that hair tends to grow less quickly right after a long-needed shave than if you remove hair on a daily basis. That’s because the removal of longer hairs results in more of a shock to the follicle, slowing hair growth for a day or two.

Avoid using excessive pressure on the razor when you shave. By pushing down too hard on the blade, you may cause the hair follicles to rise toward the surface of your skin, making the cut hairs look more noticeable. If you’re using a sharp razor with multiple blades, you should be able to achieve a nice, close shave without applying any pressure at all.
