Last day of school depression

I always get sooo atached to all my teachers, and this time was the first year of middle school and my fave teacher isn’t coming back next year, she played “my wish” on the last day of school and had my best friend, 2 boys, and me crying so hard, it was embarrassing. How do I stop getting so close to my teachers?

aww lol I get the same thing! just stop thinking of your teachers as friends. look forward to what is going on in the summer! maybe you could start having a party on the last day of school or something to give you something to look forward to. thats what I do. good luck!

I always think of my favorite teachers as friends. And I know I would be absolutely devastated if my favorite teacher this year ended up not coming back next year, I’d cry because I know I’d be miserable. She wasn’t at school today, and I had a horrible day, that’s why I’m looking forward to tomorrow so I can talk to her. There’s really no way to stop looking to your teachers as friends, it’s actually a good thing. Well, if she’s not leaving, and just not going to school anymore, tell her you’d like to stay in contact with her? I stay in contact with some of my teachers from my middle school, and I know I’ll stay in contact with my current favorite teacher. x]
