Vaginal Question? /:

My vagina just recently started burning, itching, smelling foul, having bloody discharge, burns a bit when I urinate, it’s almost a numb feeling. I am sexually active and use protection, I do have an enlarged labia that I am going to get labiaplasty on when I’m eighteen, not sure what it could be, any ideas? And yes I know this is too much information to give out, but I don’t want to tell my mom. She is a nurse but it’s awkward for both of us and we never talk about problems like this with each other ever, and no. I do not go to a gynecologist, I’ve never ever been to one, I don’t like the idea of someone down there looking around. I know I’m being overdramatic but eh.

Might be a STD! I would tell your partner(s) and ask if they know anything or any reason why this would happen! You should tell your doctor when you go for a check up, you have the right to tell them not to tell you parents!! Unless it’s really bad! Go to the doctor, that’s my best advice!

It could very well be an STD or a UTI. I totally understand that you’re really anxious about seeing a doctor because you’re self conscious about your lady bits, but you should really go, especially if you’re sexually active. I was really nervous about seeing a doctor too because I definitely didn’t want a stranger all up in my business, but you just have to do it because your health depends on it. You should also get on birth control unless you’re planning on having a baby any time soon because condoms aren’t always effective.

PS, you should check out some pictures of other women’s lady bits. Sounds weird, but I’m sure your la bia is totally normal! Don’t compare yourself to those clean cut po rn stars :p http://beautifullabia.tumblr.com

Answer #6

You need to see a doctor. You have some sort of infection. Yes, doctors have to get into your business. Sometimes it is weird and embarassing but necessary so you should get over it. Also, your nether regions should be off limits until back to normal. As far as the plastic surgery goes, don’t bother. Genitalia comes in all shapes and sizes. Unless your area is so large that it is causing physical discomfort leave well enough alone.
