Why does my knee click?

Yesterday i had no problem with my knee it was normal, but when i woke up today i noticed that it clicked when i walked , i dont know what it is, i have no pain and it doesnt hurt when i squat, so what is it

Answer #1

Some people just have places in theyre body where they can crack or something….i bet ur just double jointed…my friends knee clicks when she squats too.

Answer #2

Probably just an air bubble caught in the synovial fluid in the knee joint - they get forced through the gaps between the cartilage on the ends of the thigh/leg bones and cause the click when the gas emerges on the other side of the gap.
. It is the same type of effect that causes cracking of the knuckle joints and is not harmful, but if in doubt, get it checked out by a doctor. .
