Answer #1

call the emergency services and ask for pet rescue and soon!!!

Answer #2

even if the mother cat can fit in the hole, that doesnt mean she has enough room to nurse the kitten. Call your fire departmenat or animal rescue…if the kitten is too young bribing it out w/ food wont help either.

Answer #3

you may have to bust a hole in the wall to get it out.. it may have climbed up on a wall joist to get a better perch… act fast.. maybe put some food near the opening and it may try to come to it…other than that , you’re going to have to call your local animal control officer..and a carpenter

Answer #4

Hmm… try the Fire and Rescue department. If they say that they can’t help you (highly unlikely), try calling the RSPCA if they know anyone who can help. Good luck!

Answer #5

like ichibanarky said, if she can get to the kitten, then its probably safe, but if she is ignoring it, then she might sense that there is something wrong with it. Mother cats {{and other animals}} will sometimes smother or starve the weakest one in the litter. They will also do this if they sense that there could be some sort of deformity or mental disability. If she isnt tending to the kitten then definitely get it out of the hole. If she is, I wouldnt really worry about it, unless you think that it wont be able to get out.

Answer #6

Is the hole big enough for the mother cat to go into, and does she go in there?

Often, a cat will hide her babies to keep them safe. If she’s able to enter the hole to tend to her baby, then it will be fine and come out on it’s own when it’s strong enough (although cats have a tendency to hide their babies in bad places).

If the mother is not tending to the baby, or the hole is in a dangerous location, then definately call animal rescue.

Maybe call animal rescue?
