What kind of moisturizer is best for a really dry face?

My skin is soo dry. And I’ve used a lot of moisterizers and nothing seems to help. I can’t wear makeup because it looks so cakey where my face is dry and it flakes. Even if I moisterize right before I apply makeup. So I’m looking for something that isn’t oily but isn’t thick and sticky either. (I hate that icky feeling that some lotion leave.) I have a sensitive face too, I sometimes break out with lotions so I would need something sensitive enough for that too.

I have the same problem and the only thing that works for me isn’t actually a moisturiser but an allergy cream called Betnovate. Good luck!

Answer #2

I use cocoa butter lotion. You should try it. Smells great, reduces wrinkles/scars/stretch marks, and give moisture.

I had itchy, dry legs, cause of a condition, and nothing worked. So my dad ordered me a lotion, that his friend uses that they only sell in Israel. It’s called AHAVA. They only make it in Israel cause they get their ingrediants from the dead sea, thats only located their. I love it, it’s not thick, very light after a few minutes it seeps into the skin so you don’t even know its on. (I wouldnt suggest using coco butter for your face though, that stuff is thick and will clog pores, I think their are iols in that.) Soo where can you get this stuff… My dad got it from Amazon.com or you could get it from Ebay. But on amazon you don’t have to bid, which might make it a bit more expensive. This is what they say with the product from amazon - (This daily gentle body lotion is powered by our exclusive osmotertm and nourishing, healthy extracts that increase skin’s moisture levels. It absorbs quickly into skin for long-lasting, all day comfort and hydration.) Now Ahava can be used for many things, so they have different lines. Here’s the one I get, link below..

Answer #27

coconut oil. It is great for the skin and will not cause blemishes. Rub it in your skin and let it soak up. It will feel greasy at 1st but it will soak into your skin. It gives a nice glow and keeps your skin hydrated all day. And the best part is it is natural, cheap, and won’t clog your pores.
