What kind of jobs give people training?

I mean when people look for a job they ask for many years of experience even for picking the garbage they ask for experince, but how do you get the experience if nobody gives people a chance to get the experience. What do you think? tell me please thank you.

That is true, however if you pick the right career and you are properly qualified then generally you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a proper job. Careers such as accounting, engineering, law and medicine comes to mind, these people almost never have troubles finding proper jobs.

Electrician apprenticeships are common. I’d imagine plumbing contracting too, carpentry, maybe even roofing. Some firms will pay you more if you’re experienced in what they need, and less if they have to train you.

Pinkpearl read my mind, there are apprenticeships to gain experience. However, there are certain companies who prefer NO experience. Honda of North America for example. I’ve known people who have worked for them and their lack of factory / manufacturing experience is what helped them get hired because Honda wants to train / mold people their way rather than hire people who may come to work thinking they already know what they are doing and don’t need training. There are also other companies / busessinessess out there who hire people with no experience. It’s sad to say, but often the determining factor in getting the job can be simply whether or not the interviewer “likes” you or not, rather than your level of experience.

wow i ask the same question all the time .I am applying for a job as a room attendant and the application said you need a diploma in cleaning and at least 2 years experience in cleaning in a 5* hotel. .. i often wonder the same thing because if i can’t get a job how can i gain the experience, i have completed my Alevels and is now in awaiting to go to university in october. however i think that it is stupid for people to need experience to work in a store where you just restock shelves. it is so annoying when they expect you to have a long work history. most companies nowadays wont even consider you for a position if you do not have years of experience, therefore the only thing left for people to do is to lie on there CVs.

Well the kind of job I want to go into gives you training - I want to be a research scientist so I am doing postgrad study, which gives me practical, hands-on experience working in a laboratory. My brother is an aircraft engineer and part of his education was a three year apprenticeship, so bu the time he was fully qualified, he already had practical experience, and he had made a lot of contacts also.
