What kind of fighting style does the United States Marine Corps use?

Answer #1

The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). It combines existing and new hand-to-hand and close quarters combat (CQC) techniques with morale and team-building functions and instruction in what the Marine Corps calls the “Warrior Ethos”.

The program, which began in 2001, trains Marines (and U.S. Navy personnel attached to Marine Units) in unarmed combat, edged weapons, weapons of opportunity, and rifle and bayonet techniques. It also stresses mental and character development, including the responsible use of force, leadership, and teamwork.

Answer #2

MCMAP, and it uses techniques from Jujitsu, Karate, Tae Kwan Do, and Muay Thai. I like to think of it as the weaker version of the Israeli counterpart, Krav Maga. Though, I’m sure MCMAP is just as effective as Krav Maga or even Systema, the Russian version.

Answer #3

actually its Brazilian jui jitsu
