Why do kids want to race you all the time, if you drive a sports car?

Well they are starting to drive, they are getting used to the road, best thing to do is to ignore them and be done with it because they will do it more and think it’s “cooler” and they will keep doing it. There will always be that one pearson who annoys you, wont do any good at all, so ignore and keep driving, theres always problems on the road.

Its simple most of the time the think their being cool even though it stupid and its the fact that they want to show off to their friends and sadly they don’t think about how dangerous it can be.

Well I have never understood why you would do this so unplanned, that is how you get in trouble with the law or end up dead. There are hundreds of people on the road with you and you can not plan for their actions.

Me and my Dad usta drag race, but we did this on the track and we where the only car in our lane, and this is still dangerous.

Do these kids not watch TV and see what happens when you wreck on the streets in cars that are not made to race.

Yes they do, it’s just that they don’t care, when it come to being “cool” and “fighting in” they do anathing.

It’s seen as “cool”. They want to look “cool” in front of their friends. According to my mom, this happened to us a while back, I was a baby, and my dad was driving. Some stupid teens were taunting my dad, he has a bit of an anger issue, he was ready to go full speed but then my mom yelled at him about killing the family and their baby (me). It is rather stupid I think, it’s dangerous, I honestly do not see how it is “cool” to taunt random people and race them. I think that it’s because movies and video games make it seem so “cool”.

It isn’t only sports cars, from personal experience, because I admittedly drive too fast, we just like to drive fast, and when you first get your license it seems like it would be “cool” too drive fast and race people.

Well it is not that cool, it is very dangerous, and when you have seen a few of the outcomes of these street races, you would know the danger.

Best I can tell it is Pony cars and muscle cars that get challenged a lot.

Friends who drive Cameros and Mustangs get that a lot but in my Miata only once in a while.

If it isn’t too dangerous sometimes I’ll play a little but usually I just let them go. One woman in a white Acura even tried brake testing me to try to get me to race her. I called the police on her since her actions were too provocative and dangerous.
