The side-effects of hemodialysis varies between patients. For some patients, their blood pressure may go bananas, feel nausea, vomit, get hot or cold flashes, get depressed, get muscle cramps, feel dizzy, lose their appetite, the list goes on. I’m a medical engineer working in dialysis, so I’ve seen all this first-hand.
sometimes you get really tired after dialysis and some times you have energy but one thing for sure you will be hungry lol hope this helps
there really isn’t any symptoms. my mom has kidney failure, and does dialysis. I think it can make you feel sick if the fluid is too cold. just put it in the microwave for about maybe 2 mins. and if you forget to turn this knob thing or something it will make your stomach hurt so just turn the knob, you’ll feel better in about 5 seconds. and if your kidneys are really that bad, look on the bright side, no more peeing on yourself. Ha! you’ll never pee again. unless you get a new kidney of course.
When my mom was first diagnosed with kidney failure (dialysis comes later after your kidneys fail) she was told that there really aren’t any symptoms. However she had high blood pressure, her body was retaining fluids…everywhere (she swelled up). But everyone is different.
