maaybe its just old? unless its new, I’d by a new one.
I have recently started having the same problem & it’s none of the above, the computer just stops reconizing that there is a keyboard,if I go to my comtrol panel, then go to keyboard, sometimes it does not show that I have one (sometimes it still shows & I can get it to start working again easier)& then I have to unplug my keyboard, turn the computer off, plug keyboard back in & then turn computer back on, is this a vista issue or what ??? Is there a patch or fix for this???
Does it have a shut off button you keep pressing? Is the port loose?
Could be many reasons…
Keyboards are cheap. Buy another one. It probably got gunked up or spilled on or something.
